Bingo! Cenla Writer Makes Point on Smoke-free
Check out this recent letter to the Alexandria Town Talk. The writer, David Davenport, points out that bingo halls are another place where people (including children) might be exposed to the dangers of secondhand smoke. He also addresses the issue of the state legislature voting on smoke-free laws, but did you know that Louisiana law allows for local governments to pass their own smoke-free ordinances?
So, we're curious: Would you support a local ordinance in your area? We think that Mr. Davenport of Alexandria might.

I would gladly support a smoke free work place. I work in a casino, where I'm subjected to inconsiderate smokers, who blow smoke right in your face, and cigar smokers are the worst. Our employer does nothing for us, we're suppose to to have tables with air racks but they don't work. Now when you apply for a dealer position it states must be able to work with second hand smoke.
I know the story go find a better place but at 63 and with my husband on my insurance who had quad triple bypass where can I go.
