Smoke-free Support from Lafayette Newspaper
Last Friday, April 1, the Daily Advertiser in Lafayette ran a wonderful editorial supporting smoke-free bars and music venues.

The piece highlighted comments from stories from local musicians that have suffered the negative consequences of entertaining in smoky venues and who are now coming ou in support of smoke-free venues, including Grammy winner Chubby Carrier, and well-known local favorites Joey Richard and David Egan.
In the article, Richard describes the smoky smell of his guitar when he removes it from its case, commenting that smoky venues are "ruining his equipment." He then points out that it's also ruining irreplaceable "equipment" as well; specifically, it's destroying his lungs.
Read the full article here. Then, we encourage you to join Chubby, David and Joey in their fight for smoke free by posting a comment in support of the call for equal air for all!

David Egan & Chubby Carrier flank blues/soul legend Carol Fran at a recent Let's Be Totally Clear event.
