Supporters Share Their Thoughts
If you've been reading this blog, you know that we've seen lots of support for smoke-free in and around Lafayette, and now we have some more examples to share! Some outspoken Lafayette-area residents shared their thoughts with us after the annual "Benefit the Boogie" fundraiser event that helps provide Acadiana musicians information about lung cancer and access to screenings. Here are just a couple of video clips of these supporters expressing their feelings on smoke-free bars and venues in Lafayette and protecting the great musical culture of the area! We'll post more soon. Enjoy!
And here's a interesting perspective from a smoker!

I see Casino commercials on TV showing people having fun in a "clear" gaming room environment. I'd like to see LBTC mimic their commercials with one showing patrons in a "smoke filled" room and some of the employees and entertainers coughing uncontrollably.
